Beaches of Costa D'Oiro
Warm sandy beaches and tranquil waters, rocky lace embedded in this part of the coast between Praia da Batata and Ponta da Piedade and gets its name from the color of the rocks. There are several beaches linked by tunnels dug into the rock, which have small tongues of soft sand, offering temperate waters, crystal clear, and protection in the shadow of the huge cliffs of red and yellow tones. Here, do not feel the prevailing winds and can jump from rock to rock the world enjoying the sea creatures that low tide leaves bare. Praia Formosa (aka, Potato), passing by the beaches of Men, Students, Boiler, Pinion, Dona Ana, Camilo, Pines, and ending in Playa Grande, is fulfilled the tour of these magnificent coves embedded in lacy Rocky of Costa D'oiro.
Pinhão Beach
Situated on a small rocky bay, midway between Lagos and Ponta da Piedade, this beach can be reached through a pedestrian trail from the Praia D. Ana and traveling over the top of the cliff. The beach is small and sandwiched between high cliffs, carved in carbonate rocks of warm colors and intense. It also has a viewpoint with a staircase leading down. Very restricted car access, has no support or monitoring of beach.
